Let's start at the beginning…

I was born in the beautiful island of Puerto Rico to a loving couple as the 2nd child. Within a year they moved my brother and I to Orlando, FL where my mother was able to work towards her goal of opening a beauty salon while my father worked with the airlines at one of the busiest airports in the states. Needless to say I grew up in the salon surrounded by so many men and women with a variety of artistic talents. 

As a teenager, my mother enrolled me in a modeling/etiquette academy where I learned about proper etiquettes, posture and appearance. This is when I started learning about both editorial (photography) and stage makeup. 

When the time came to graduate high school, I had to make a  decision on what I wanted to do next. Naturally I decided to try something that I would be able to use at my mother’s salon. Therefore, I started with becoming a licensed Nail Technician and then furthered my studies to Esthetician. Combining these two licenses gave me the title of Full Specialist. Part of my Esthetician curriculum was a deep dive into the art of makeup which is when I started to really grow in interest in it. 

For a few years I had mainly focused on being a Nail Technician, specializing in acrylics and encapsulations. Once I was invited to be the MUA for a bridal fashion show, I knew that I wanted to put makeup artist on my portfolio. I then provided services to brides,  quinceañeras , wedding guests and so on until I redirected my focus on acrylics again.

Fast forward 18 years later, and I found myself retired as a nail technician and still craving a creative outlet but most of all, that one on one connection with my clients to help them feel beautiful for their special occasions. 

And here I am!
